NEW: Police begin search for Bristol man missing since Wednesday

An update from SCSO officials said Alexander has been safely located.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office issued a missing person alert for a Bristol, Tennessee man who was last seen on Wednesday.

The report said Randolph Alexander, 49, of Bristol Caverns Highway was last seen leaving his home carrying a yellow Dollar General Store bag.

Alexander was last seen wearing shorts and a gray t-shirt. He is described as a white male standing 6 feet tall weighing 215 pounds with a bald head.

Investigators noted he is unable to speak and his left arm is drawn toward his chest.
