At Home COVID-19 Testing Begins For UVA Wise Students
The distribution of At Home COVID-19 tests for UVA Wise students is underway as the College prepares to welcome students back to class for the fall 2020 semester. The college has set up a system to allow students who live close to campus, about an hour away or less, to come for testing at the David J. Prior Center and at the Southwest Virginia Higher education Center in Abingdon beginning Wednesday August 12 and will continue through August 14 from eleven am till seven pm. Students who live outside the region, or those who live closer but prefer to test at home, will receive a test kit in the mail. The kits should arrive at the students’ homes Wednesday or Thursday.
