Volunteer High School football player tests positive for COVID-19, game against CAK canceled

A Volunteer High School football player has tested positive for COVID-19.

Published reports say the student and teammates who practiced with him and were in close contact are now in quarantine.

They will reportedly remain in quarantine through Friday, prompting the cancellation of the school’s game against Christian Academy of Knoxville that was scheduled for Friday night.
