Johnson Co. Sheriff’s Office: Man charged with first-degree murder in disappearance of roommate
Police in Johnson County say a 67-year old man is dead, and his roommate his charged with first degree murder in his disappearance.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says Allen McGee went missing on Aug. 7. The TBI, along with the Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at his residence in Butler last Friday along with forensic scientists. Officials say during their investigation, they determined David Lee Albright, who serves as McGee landlord and roommate, was responsible for his disappearance. Albright faces several charges including first degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
McGee’s body has not yet been found, and anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office at 423-727-7761.
