BrightRidge receives state virus pandemic relief funding to expand wifi in area schools
State coronavirus relief funding is being allocated to utility provider BrightRidge to supply 22 area schools in Washington and Sullivan counties with additional wifi capability.
A total of $2.4 million is being expended for the projects including BrightRidge contributing more than $600,000 in matching funds.
Guidelines for the funding call for wifi access improvements to help individuals and families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
