VSP: Northeast Tennessee man dies from injuries in ATV crash near Damascus

A Northeast Tennessee man was killed following an ATV crash near the Appalachian Trail in Washington County, Virginia.

A report from State Police said Alexander P. Eastridge, 20, of Laurel Bloomery, died from injuries sustained in a wreck that occurred on Grassy Ridge Road outside of Damascus.

The preliminary investigation revealed Eastridge was westbound on Tuesday just before 10 am when he ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree, and overturned. A fellow rider found Eastridge and transported him to a local medical center where he later died.
