First Lady Pamela Northam Visits Southwest Virginia On Back To School Tour

Virginia First Lady Pamela Northam kicks off a two day Back to School Tour in southwest Virginia Monday. Northam is visiting Marion and Abingdon to highlight how educators are supporting Virginia children and families adapting to challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tuesday, the First Lady tours Coeburn, and Wise Virginia and plans to visit child care classrooms, family day homes, Head Start programs, elementary schools and other providers serving the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable children and families.
