Washington County, TN Schools to remain virtual for two weeks, then return to in-person learning on hybrid schedule

School leaders in Washington County, TN have also approved a hybrid plan to have students return to in-person learning.

The district’s board met last night and voted in favor of having students go to classes in separate groups, including Group A going Monday-Tuesday, while Group B will go Thursday-Friday. Wednesday will be used as a full remote and deep cleaning day.

This plan will start Sept. 21 as the district stays fully remote for the next two weeks. The board will revisit the plan after Fall Break and could move towards a full reopening.
