Report: Virginia Tech student sexually assaulted on campus

One person is in custody following a reported sexual assault on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.

A report issued by the school said the incident took place Friday night in the 700 block of Washington Street. The victim told investigators the next day that they were forcibly fondled by a person they did not know.

The statement said the suspect who was also enrolled at Tech was identified and charged.
