Kingsport City Schools Watching Data Closely…Decision Expected On Full Return To Operations Later This Week

If the data continues to move in the right direction, Kingsport City Schools could be back in one hundred percent operations for sixth through 12th grades by next week. Superintendent of schools Dr. Jeff Moorehouse says this weeks data will be monitored closely and will reflect data from the Labor Day Holiday period. Following its meeting with the health department, school board members will meet Thursday night to decide if the system will return to full operations or will continue its Hybrid format for teaching and learning.
