The post said the council is forever grateful for Rumsby’s leadership, service, and commitment. The council also stated in their post that they will communicate funeral arrangements as soon as those become available.
The Mountain Home National Cemetery also took to Facebook to pay their respects to Rumsby, which in part said, “Ernie was a powerhouse in our area in every aspect of remembering and honoring our heroes, our Veterans. If there was a military event of any kind, Ernie was there. He was one of a kind and has left shoes no one will ever be able to fill.”
