TBI: Morristown woman indicted on three counts of TennCare Fraud
A Morristown woman who worked as a licensed practical nurse has been indicted on charges related to TennCare fraud.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Medicare Fraud Control Division started an investigation in April into Chelsea Snowden, 35, and during that time, state authorities said Snowden falsified three different timesheets, which resulted in her employer billing TennCare for services that did not happen.
A Hamblen County grand jury indicted Snowden Monday on three counts of TennCare Fraud. Snowden was arrested yesterday and booked into jail on a $15,000 bond.
