Sullivan County Could Move To In Person Learning Later This Month

Plans are underway in Sullivan County that would allow students to return to school for in person learning on September 28th. In a letter released to the media, Director of Schools, Dr. David Cox says under this plan, elementary and middle school students would return the 28th, while high school students would return beginning October 19th. The plan goes before the Board of Education this coming Thursday for its review. The Sullivan County school year began August 5th under totally online instruction, but transitioned to a hybrid model on August 24th.
