Third Person Sentenced For Part In Super-Bowl Sunday Shooting In Wise County
Earlier this week we reported that 40 Jarrod Ray Hash and 20 year old Marshae Noell Absher both of Norton were convicted of various crimes as part of a shooting on Super-Bowl Sunday, in February of this year, in Wise County that killed one person and injured one. Now, on Thursday a third person has been sentenced for his part in the shooting. 36 year old William Mattias Mills of Coeburn, Virginia was sentenced on Possession of a Firearm after being Convicted of a Violent Felony charge. 39 year old Christopher Dale Stevens was found dead near Absher’s vehicle from multiple gunshot wounds. Mills, Hash and Absher remain in the custody of the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail at Duffield where they await transfer to the Virginia Department of Corrections.
