KCS: 6-12 grade students to return to five days in-person learning starting Monday

Kingsport City School students in grades 6-12 will head back to full in-person learning beginning next week.

School officials announced Thursday that those students, who were previously going on a two day hybrid schedule by alphabet, will join PreK-5 students in going back five days a week starting Sept. 21. This only applies to families that have chosen a face-to-face learning option.

The school system will also being operating in its “yellow” status next week.
