Bristol, Va Fire Department now issuing COVID-19 community response kits

The Bristol, Va Fire Department working alongside the city’s redevelopment and housing authority and faith-based organizations are distributing COVID-19 community response kits to those in need of PPE.

In those kits that are to be issued starting Monday including a disposable and reusable mask, disposable gloves, a 2 oz bottle of hand sanitizer, and antibacterial wet wipes. These kits were purchased through funding from the CARES Act. Those kits are available to be picked up at three fire stations across the city Mon-Fri from 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
