Payroll Protection Loan Forgiveness Application Assistance Now Available

Small business owners in the region affected by COVID-19 can now apply for free assistance with loan forgiveness applications for the Payroll Protection Program. The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at ETSU and a local CPA firm are partnering to provide free assistance to small business owners who are clients of the center and have received a PPP loan are eligible for the free service provided by Blackburn, Childers and Steagall CPA firm. Any business in the Center’s service region may register as a client at no charge to become eligible for loan forgiveness application assistance. Established by the CARES Act, the PPP provides assistance for small businesses to pay up to eight weeks of payroll costs and benefits as well as other related COVID-19 costs.
