Career, Kingsport Criminal Headed To Prison For 20 Years

A 37 year old career criminal out of Kingsport will now spend the next 20 years in prison after being sentenced Wednesday on firearms and methamphetamine charges. 37 year old Larry Hutchins was convicted in October. On March 28 of 2018 Kingsport Police found Hutchins at Model City Apartments, standing in the street. A Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputy, aware of warrants out for Hutchins’ arrest, searched Hutchins and found him in possession of two loaded firearms and more than ten grams of meth packaged for resale.
