Substantial Completion Of Aerospace Park To Be Celebrated This Week

Later this week a much anticipated economic development site headed up by the Tri Cities Airport Authority will celebrate the substantial completion of the project. The multi million dollar, 160 acre Aerospace Park is a direct airfield development that’s located adjacent to Tri Cities Airport. The airport along with Northeast State Technical College are partnering to develop a site to teach next generation aviation mechanics. Airport officials view the project as a driver for the Aerospace Park Development. A ceremony will be held this Thursday at nine am at the airport to celebrate the progress of the project.
