COVID-19 Cases, Now Surging In LENOWISCO Health District

COVID-19 cases are now surging in Lee, Scott, and Wise Counties as well as the City of Norton, Virginia according to the Virginia Department of Health. The LENOWISCO Health District, surpassed a cumulative 13 hundred cases this week. The district has seen 27 COVID outbreaks, 103 COVID related hospitalizations and 23 COVID related deaths. COVID-19 cases have been steadily increasing over the last four weeks. The health district is urging residents in Southwest Virginia to practice the three W’s. Wear a mask, Watch your six feet distance and wash your hands.
