GPD: One woman killed in fire Sunday morning

One woman is dead following a Sunday morning fire in Greeneville.

The Greeneville Police Department says the fatal blaze occurred just after midnight Sunday at an apartment on Crestview Dr. The victim in the fire was identified as Lynn Graham, 67, who lived in the apartment alone. She was the mother of Greene County Sheriff Deputy Ricky Graham and the widow of retired Greeneville PD Captain Everett Graham.

The fire remains under investigation.
