RCPS: Belfast Elementary to operate on a fully remote schedule for the next two weeks due to COVID-19 case

One school in Russell County, Va will operate on a 100% fully remote learning schedule for the next two weeks due a positive case of COVID-19 reported in a staff member.

School officials learned that a staff member at Belfast Elementary tested positive yesterday, and that individual was on school property all last week.

Based on recommendations from the health department, the school will operate fully remote for two weeks before being permitted to return to in-person learning starting Nov. 9.
