Drive-through COVID testing available in Mountain City on Saturday

COVID-19 cases continue to spike in rural regions of Tennessee. In response, Governor Bill Lee’s Unified Command Group will establish a number of drive-through testing sites.

Johnson County High School has been designated as an official site by the group. Operations will commence at 9 am in Mountain City on 510 Fairground Lane with Tennessee National Guard members and Department of Health officials on hand to administer nasal swabs.

Participants should receive test results within 72 hours, according to the state report.
