UPDATE: Greeneville City Schools to continue on hybrid model through Nov. 6 because of continued COVID-19 case growth
Greeneville City Schools will continue on a hybrid schedule at least through next Friday Nov. 6 due to continued growth of COVID-19 cases in the community.
The announcement was made Thursday morning by the school district, who chose to keep the hybrid model in place after consulting with regional and local health officials. The system will continue to make decisions regarding its operating plan by each Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The plan to return all students participating in an in-person learning model to five days a week continues to be put on hold for now.
