NEW: Carter County Schools moving to 100% virtual learning Nov. 2-6 due to COVID-19 surge

Carter County Schools are transitioning back to full virtual learning next week due to a recent spike of COVID-19 cases in the region.

Director of Schools Dr. Tracey McAbee said Friday in a news release that meal deliveries will occur three times next week, including on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as two days worth of meals will be included in each of those deliveries.

Meal pickups will be offered at Cloudland, Hampton, and Hunter Elementary as well as Little Milligan and Happy Valley Middle from 11-12 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
