Sullivan County Extends Mask Mandate In Public Places

Sullivan County Mayor Richard Venable on Friday extends the mask mandate through the end of November. As COVID-19 cases continue to climb throughout the county, the executive order mandates that all businesses, organizations, and venues open to pubic use shall require the use of face coverings by their employees. The mandate also continues a previous order that requires patrons visiting those establishments to also wear face masks. Places of worship are exempt from this most recent order that expires on November 30th at eleven 59 pm.
