Police: Father angered over custody battle fired shotgun into Bristol, Virginia home with wife, children inside
A Bristol, Virginia man with a protective order against him is accused by police of firing several shots into his home with his wife and children inside.
Investigators said Bobby Joe Blaylock III, was likely motivated by a custody hearing results. That led him to the couple’s home on Greenbriar Drive where he admitted to officers that he fired three rounds from his shotgun into the dwelling.
Blaylock is charged with four counts of attempted malicious wounding, attempted breaking and entering, and five other violations.
