COVID-19 pandemic forces cancellation of 2020 Greeneville Christmas Parade

The 2020 Greeneville Christmas Parade has been canceled because of COVID-19 concerns.

The Greene County Partnership and Exchange Club of Greeneville announced the decision on Saturday, stating that upon review of parade plans with local health officials, it was not in the best interest of the community to move forward with this year’s event.

Event organizers have announced the date for next year’s Greeneville Christmas Parade, which is slated for December 5th, 2021.
