Ballad Health, successfully launches a new electronic health record system designed to be controlled by patients and their providers. The Epic platform is a single technology system that allows data to be utilized in a more secure fashion. New services will include real time scheduling, access to health information, transparency in pricing and most importantly, better coordination between healthcare providers, regardless of where the providers are or what data systems they use. The interoperable health technology will serve all Ballad Health’s merged hospitals and care sites.
