2020 Speedway in Lights season to see some changes due to COVID-19 pandemic
The 24th season of Bristol Motor Speedway’s Speedway in Lights is set to begin soon, but with changes amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
As guests make their through the massive light display spread across the racing facility, they will be able to visit the Christmas Village as normal in the middle of the race track, but noticeable differences will be in place. One of those includes no carnival rides or pictures with Santa this year, and specific in and out route will be displayed to accommodate for social distancing. Mask wearing will also be required in the Christmas Village.
The speedway’s ice rink will also have reduced capacity this season and will require advanced registration. Speedway in Lights open on Friday, Nov. 13, and the Ice Rink opens Nov. 12.
