Police: Fall Branch allegedly stole nearly $70,000 of merchandise from two stores in Johnson City
A Fall Branch, TN man is in jail on accusations he stole nearly $70,000 in a series of thefts from two retail stores.
Johnson City Police arrested Justin Moody, 32, on Wednesday on charges of two counts of theft of property over $10,000. An investigation by authorities say dating back to Feb., Moody allegedly stole approximately $30,000 of merchandise from American Eagle and $35,000 from Holister. Police say Moody works for a company contracted to pick up and deliver packages and claims Moody would open and steal merchandise from those packages.
Moody was due in court Thursday afternoon.
