Thousands To Enjoy Speedway In Lights, Thanks To City Partnerships

In lieu of the canceled Bristol Christmas Parade, approximately four thousand households will be able to enjoy the Speedway in Lights holiday event this year. The Bristol Chamber of Commerce, Bristol Motor Speedway, Speedway Children’s Charities and Food City have partnered to provide that experience for local students and families in place of the traditional Christmas Parade that was recently canceled due to COVID-19 precautions. Food City’s donation will allow vouchers to be distributed throughout Bristol, Virginia City Schools, Bristol Tennessee City Schools and Sullivan County East Zone Schools. The vouchers will be used to gain entrance to the Speedway in Lights event that begins later this month.
