Wise Co. Schools: Two Union High School students test positive for COVID-19

Two students at Union High School in Wise County, Va have tested positive for COVID-19.

Superintendent Dr. Gregory Mullins informed parents of the positive test in a letter, stating the two were in attendance for a brief period of time on Monday, and a parent of the students additionally tested positive for the virus. Contact tracing is underway by the health department and the work space the students used have been deep cleaned.

The letter did not mention any changes to the operating status of Union High School.
