UPDATE: Glade Spring woman accused of locking man inside burning storage unit has case bound over
A woman accused of locking a man inside a Glade Spring, Va storage unit in Jan. where he later died in a fire has had her case bound over to a grand jury.
Kelly Goff, 46, is charged with involuntary manslaughter and abduction in the fatal fire that killed Walter Lampkins. Court documents say Goff locked the unit door from the outside while video surveillance showed Lampkins, who was staying inside the unit, trying to free himself while the fire burned inside.
The blaze reportedly affected 25 units at the storage facility according to the Washington County, Va Sheriff’s Office.
