UPDATE: Russell County Schools switching to online classes after Thanksgiving break
Anticipated family gatherings during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday have caused Russell County, Virginia public school leaders to switch all curriculum to remote learning following the holiday break.
A report from Superintendent Gregory Brown says the decision was made after consultation with the Cumberland Plateau Health District.
Online classes will take place from Nov. 30 through Dec. 4 with current instructional models set to resume on Dec. 7.
