Four local health departments to extend COVID testing hours Nov. 23 & 30

Four Northeast Tennessee health departments will extend hours for COVID-19 testing leading up to and after the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Among the 35 health departments chosen statewide to increase testing availability includes Carter County at their health department location, Greene County at their Greene Valley campus, Hawkins County at their Rogersville location, and Washington County at their health department.

These four health departments will conduct testing from 7 a.m-5 p.m on Nov. 23 and 30. Testing will not occur on Thanksgiving Day Nov. 26-Nov. 28.
