JC Schools: Liberty Bell returning to hybrid schedule, Science Hill returning on adjusted hybrid schedule Nov. 30
Two Johnson City Schools are moving back to a hybrid schedule after Thanksgiving.
Johnson City Schools announced Thursday that Liberty Bell Middle School will move back to a hybrid schedule, while Science Hill High School will revert to an adjusted hybrid schedule, both beginning Nov. 30 and ending Dec. 18. Starting with Liberty Bell Middle School, below is the breakdown of their hybrid schedule, as it will be broken down into two groups by last name, including Group A (last names A-K) and Group B (last names L-Z):

Monday, November 30: Group A
Tuesday, December 1: Group B
Wednesday, December 2: Group A
Thursday, December 3: Group B
Friday, December 4: Group A
Dec. 7 – Dec. 11
Monday, December 7 – Group A

Science Hill High School will start off the first week of their return to an adjusted hybrid schedule with keeping students fully remote except for assessments, before moving into to more traditional hybrid model the week of Dec. 7-11. Just like Liberty Bell Middle School, the hybrid schedule will be broken down into two groups by last name, including Group A (last names A-K), and Group B (last names L-Z). Below is Science Hill’s schedule:
Nov. 30 – Dec. 4: ALL SH students will be remote except for the following days noted for assessment:
Monday, November 30: Remote for ALL students
Tuesday, December 1: Fall English 9 and 10 students report for EOC testing; all other students in remote learning
Wednesday, December 2: Fall Honors Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry students will report for EOC testing; all other students in remote learning
Thursday, December 3: Fall SDC US History report for SCD testing; all other students in remote learning
Friday, December 4: Make-up testing as needed; all other students in remote learning
Dec. 7-11: Hybrid Schedule or Remote Learning as noted:
Monday, December 7: Fall “A” Biology I students report for testing; all other students in remote learning
Tuesday, December 8: Fall “B” Biology I students report for testing; all other in remote learning
Wednesday, December 9: SDC Speech, SDC Plant Science, SDC Pre-Calculus and EOC make-ups attend school for testing; all other students in remote learning
Thursday, December 10: “A” students in school; “B” students in remote learning
