Kingsport Continues To Streamline Development Department…Hires Coordinator

The City of Kingsport continues to streamline its development process as more and more people want to call Kingsport home. After making several process changes the city now has a Development Coordinator that will oversee all plans for new or redevelopment within the city…with the exception of new or remodeled single family homes on existing lots. Elizabeth Rowe will now manage a one stop shop for developments. The move will allow city staff more time to review plans and ensure all construction is sound. The process will also relieve developers , owners and design professionals from making multiple contacts to city departments. Rowe will field all questions and comments to ensure that all involved are on the same page.
