NEW: Washington County, TN Schools to stay fully remote through the remainder of the fall semester

Washington County, TN Schools will stay virtual through the remainder of the semester.

School board members met in a called meeting Monday and voted 7-2 in favor staying fully remote to the Christmas Break and at least to Jan. 8.

The board will meet prior to the start of the second semester on Jan. 4 to review COVID-19 data and determine the next steps for the school system in what operating plan they will proceed with.
