KPD Seeks Input For Accreditation Process

For 28 consecutive years, Kingsport’s Police Department has been accredited by a commission on accreditations.

Kingsport is once again scheduled, this time, for a virtual on-site assessment by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies December 7th -9th. As part of that accreditation process, the department is seeking public comments from agency employees, and members of the community.
