Kingsport Police: Suspect accused of “several felony crimes” in Lynn Garden community in custody

A suspect is in custody Monday morning after Kingsport Police say the individual committed a series of felony crimes, including a shooting.

Officers responded to the Lynn Garden community around 9:30 a.m. and arrested a so far unidentified suspect on several crimes including a shooting. The department says there is no reason to believe that the community is in any danger as they believe they have the individual responsible for all the crimes.

The incidents remain under investigation.
