Virginia Tech hosting virtual commencement this weekend for more than 2,600 Hokies

Organizers at Virginia Tech are conducting their commencement exercises like many other schools during this pandemic.

The Blacksburg university announced more than 2,600 Hokies will receive their degrees during a virtual ceremony on Friday. The most awarded degree during the Fall 2020 event is Computer science, according to school data, followed by business information technology, and human development.

There are also 706 candidates who will receive their master’s degree during the ceremony that can be viewed on Virginia Tech’s website beginning at 6:15 pm that evening.
