Warrants secured in Gray, Tennessee shooting and murder case, suspect still on the run
Warrants have been secured for a Washington County, Tennessee murder suspect who investigators have labeled as armed and dangerous.
The search for Ralph Eugene Davenport began Tuesday night following a shooting in Gray at 480 Ford Creek Road. Detectives said Davenport fled that area after he shot and killed Leslie Dawn Belt, 43, at her home.
Davenport, 47, was currently on supervised release following a 1993 conviction for voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a Johnson City man.
Davenport is 6 feet tall weighing 245 pounds with grayish-brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a 2001 white Ford van with ladder racks on top.
