No Injuries After Beechcraft Runs Off Runway At TRI

Tri Cities Airport’s Runway 5-23 reopened Tuesday afternoon after being shut down following an aircraft accident just before one p.m. Tuesday. One person was on board the BA-55 Beechcraft when the plane apparently ran off runway 5-23 shutting it down for an hour. No injuries were reported and the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
