Shooting In Rogersville Leaves One Dead, One Jailed

A Hawkins County man is dead and a Rogersville man is jailed after a Wednesday evening shooting incident. Hawkins County Sheriff’s officers arrived at 1705 Burem Road in Rogersville and found 25 year old Jordan R. Pilcher deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. During the course of the investigation, authorities arrested 35 year old Nathan Kendrick Lane of 1705 Burem Road and charged him with second degree murder. Lane is being held without bond in the Hawkins County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
