CVS, Walgreen’s workers traveling to long-term care facilities in Virginia this week to administer COVID vaccine
Residents in more than 1,400 long-term care facilities in Virginia are slated to receive their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine this week.
Professionals with CVS and Walgreen’s will be delivering and administering the immunization onsite and coordinating the work with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Those residents and front-line medical workers are included in Virginia’s first tier of vaccine distribution. More than 65,000 people have already received the serum.
