Greeneville man facing 10 charges following Sunday evening arrest for burglary
A Greeneville, Tennessee man is accused of trying to break into a number of homes over the weekend.
A report from the town’s police department said William Anthony Howell had already entered an occupied house on North Main Street when he was chased down and cornered at a car lot.
The investigation also revealed Howell, 35, caused damage to another home on that block and tried to make his way into two more homes in the 100 block of Montford Avenue.
An officer wrote that Howell appeared to be under the influence during the time of the incidents. He is charged with three counts of aggravated criminal trespass, one count of aggravated burglary, and six other violations.
