JCPD: Woman charged with attempted first-degree murder following stabbing Monday

A Blountville, TN woman is jailed on an attempted first-degree murder charge after police say she stabbed a victim during a struggle Monday morning.

Johnson City Police were called to a home on Hamilton St. around 10:15 a.m., where they located a female with severe injuries, who was taken to the hospital for treatment. An investigation found multiple house items and furniture were in disarray, and police say they found evidence that linked suspect Annette Harvey, 51, to the incident.

She was later arrested in Bristol, and taken to the Washington County Detention Center where she is being held on $100,000 bond.
