Smart Approaches To Marijuana Group Says No To Current Legalization Bill In Virginia

As Virginia Governor Ralph Northam continues pushing his marijuana legalization bill in the legislature for its approval, an opposition group pleaded its case Tuesday in a Zoom press conference. Smart Approaches To Marijuana hosted the conference that featured more than a dozen medical and safety experts. Will Jones is with Smart Approaches and says Northam’s proposed bill is not he right one.Jones did say however, that last years decriminalization bill was a positive step forward in achieving social justice reforms. Northam is attempting to tie social justice changes to the marijuana legalization bill in Virginia.
