Gov. Northam sends letter to new President Biden, VP Harris
Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam has addressed new commander-in-chief Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in a letter as the new administration gets to work.
Northam said to Biden and Harris that they assume leadership at a time leadership is needed, with stark division among Americans, a deadly pandemic that has now killed over 400,000 in the US, and continued threats of violence from those who seek to divide the country, according to the Governor. Northam said the administration has an ally in VA in working on things such as speeding up virus vaccinations, paying workers higher and liveable wages, and expanding affordable housing.
